King Sturge, an international property consultancy, celebrates two anniversaries in 2010: 250 years of company in the UK and 18 years of Czech branch existence. The raising of 250.000 CZK for local charities in the Czech Republic form an integral part of company´s celebration. After two months of raising money, we have raised approximately 100.000 CZK so far. The biggest contribution came from a charitable auction that King Sturge organised for its clients as a part of a reception celebrating the 250th Anniversary.
     
Social projects that we would like to support this year:
    
•    Contribution to a roof reparation of a cottage in Krkonoše mountains, that is owned as a weekend house by private Home for children and teenagers in Korkyně, Central Bohemia.       
•    Contribution to an English summer camp for a Children´s home in Ústí nad Labem.
•    Contribution to salaries for special teachers in a Community centre Motýlek in Prague.
•    Purchase of two washing machines for a Home for disabled people in Ústí nad Labem.
•    Contribution to purchase of napkins, towels, bed-clothes and pram for twins for the Children´s centre within Thomayerova teaching hospital in Prague.
